Team taps into wastewater antibiotic-resistant gene monitoring

(Virginia Tech) With a $1.3 million grant from the National Science Foundation, researchers will build a cyberinfrastructure system, known as CI-WARS, for monitoring wastewater treatment plants for possible antibiotic resistance outbreak over time.
